Registration when the cooperative is merged
a) Implementation order:
- Step 1: The Board of Directors of the alliance of cooperatives intended to be merged shall prepare the plan of merger to submit to the Board of members for making decision, and shall be responsible for sending a written notice to creditors, institutions and individuals that have economic relations with the cooperative alliance of the decision on merger.
- Step 2: The Board of Directors of the alliance of cooperatives intended to be merged shall negotiate the plan of merger, including the following major contents: asset, capital and debt disposal plan; plans for dealing with labor issues and the accrued issues of the alliance of cooperatives to be merged.
- Step 3: After being merged, the cooperative alliance shall submit registration documents for change at the Business Registration Office under the Department of Planning and Investment, where the cooperative alliance registered its head office.
- Step 4: Upon receiving the documents, the cooperative alliance registration agency:
+ Request the applicant to submit a valid copy of valid identity card or passport;
+ In case of being authorized, it is required to prepare the following papers: The service supply contract between the person establishing the cooperative alliance, the cooperative alliance and the organization providing services of submitting documents and receiving results; the recommendation letter of that organization for the individual to submit documents and receive results; or the authorization letter for the individual to submit documents and receive results in accordance with law.
- Step 5: The cooperative alliance registration agency shall hand over the receipt upon receiving valid registration documents and implement the registration to change the contents in the cooperative alliance registration, and issue new registration certificate to the cooperative alliance.
- Step 6: The cooperative alliance shall return the original of former registration certificate upon being issued the new one.

In accordance with the provisions of Clause 6, Article 2 and subparagraph b, Clause 2, Article 3 in Circular No. 02/2014/TT-BTC dated 02/01/2014 of the Ministry of Finance guiding charges and fees to be decided by people's Councils of provinces and Centrally-run cities.
